Chapbook: Planning

Considering the form, how do you intend to layout your book pages? 

I am going to write a small novel for 3-5 chapters. This will be a story of a modern young girl who is obsessed with predictions about the future and is always trying to find this about her own life.

How many pages do you expect there will be?

I expect it to be up to 35 pages.

Are you going to use images? Are these your own images (illustrations/photographs) or copyright free images that you will source?

I am going to use some images, however, I will decide later where I will take them from as I am not sure for now about the exact picture of the story. Some of the images I will take from Unsplash because they are copyright free.

What is the plan of your time and how much you will need to spend on this?

15-25 hours, I am going to spend some weekends to do it.

What do you imagine the final book will look like? 

It will be in light colours and I want to add also some magical symbols in it to create this genre.

Have you considered the cover page/contents page/back cover with blurb? 

I considered content pages because I am not sure with the name of the book yet.

Drafting and redrafting will need to be done? Who would you get to proofread your work?

I will ask my friend who is native speaker so I will know how it is perceived by them. I also will ask my partners and tutors to proofread it.

Write down any other thoughts or comments related to your plan on your blog post.

I will write it in Microsoft Word because it is easier for me to edit there and also see my basic mistakes.
