Creating a Website: Acting Resume Home Page

After I have my project signed off, I can create my own website where my final project will be uploaded. I started with choosing the template.

After picking up the template, I began to individually adjust and edit the page. I had to change my name and specialism on the pop-up dialogue box. I also adjusted the box's size to my name as it is longer that the template one and made the font larger to 36 px.

Then I edited navigation menu as we need only "Home", "About", "Portfolio" and "Contact" sections. I changed the font to Linotype Didot.

I changed the font size of navigation menu to 21 px. I decided to make all the text in Italics, using Linotype Didot font. However, I decided to make my name only in different font and changed it to Sriracha. I also changed colours of my backround to make it more bright and colourful.

As my further specialism will be performing arts, this website will be about me. Therefore, I changed the picture and put a portrait photo of myself in the box. I adjusted it to the frame by cropping and making it bigger so it fits perfectly now.

After that I changed my copywright sign to my name and the right date. I also changed the font matching my page. The copywright is located in the footer and should appear on any page.

I decided to change the subheading to show my location. I then pressed on "Preview" button to see how the website looks like.

Finally I used a "Save" button to keep my changes.

I have now customized my Home page and later I will add the links to my social media.

I had a look as well on mobile version of my website and edited the size of the text in order to have enough space for the name box. Now it looks much netter.
