Software Practice Photoshop: Portfolio concept

Today we are creating portfolio introduction page with the concept of my project on photoshop.  I will begin with creating a black canvas. To do that I went to the photoshop, clicked "New file" and I had a box opened where I clicked on "print" in a top menu and chose A3. I then checked that the resolution is 300ppi, which creates a high quality resolution. I then chose horizontal orientation as a landscape as I am doing a showreel. I went to custom my background and set a different colour.

I then added an image from my desktop. By clicking on File and the Open, I went to Select an the top menu and clicked on Select All and then went to Edit menu in the top menu and clicked copy. I then clicked back on my canvas and then I went to Show transform controls in the top menu. After that, I could move and enlarge an image to adjust it to the page.

I then added my title, I clicked on the Text button and then added new text box by clicking on my canvas. I put my work's name and my personal name underneath. I then changed the font of my heading to Centaur 42pt and subheading to Centaur 30pt.

I then went to create a logo of freelogodesign.com and used the brand name Valeriia Karmazina and then added it to photoshop. I clicked on Open and then did the same steps as I did for adding an image.

I then created an overview of my acting showreel and what to expect in there. I check my mistakes and changed the size of the font and adjusted the text according to the picture. Now I have all checked and done.
